Riverside is still undefeated this season after their match against Woodrow Wilson on Saturday, but Woodrow Wilson came as close as anyone has to beating them. Riverside had just enough and edged out Woodrow Wilson 12-10. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Warriors, who until this game were averaging 3.5 runs allowed.

Jayden Sparkman was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Sparkman was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Aaron George was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Levi Osborne, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Riverside lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Riverside's record now sits at 4-0. As for Woodrow Wilson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
