Softball Recap: Sparks Takes a Loss

Sparks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-1 to the Spring Creek Spartans. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 26, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Sparks' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Spring Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

While Sparks had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
