Basketball Recap: Galena Comes Up Short

If Galena was feeling good fresh off their 72-32 takedown of West Carroll last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The game between the Galena Pirates and the East Dubuque Warriors didn't end well, with the Galena Pirates falling 68-52. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Galena's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for East Dubuque, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Galena nor East Dubuque have any future games scheduled.
