Soccer Game Preview: Placer vs. Nevada Union

The Placer Hillmen will face off against the Nevada Union Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Placer will be strutting in after a victory while Nevada Union will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Placer turned things around against Del Campo on Monday. They skirted past the Cougars 3-2.

Meanwhile, Nevada Union fell victim to Del Campo and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0.

Placer's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-9. As for Nevada Union, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7-2.

Placer took their victory against Nevada Union in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0. Does Placer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Nevada Union turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
