Basketball Recap: Earle Comes Up Short

Earle came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Vilonia Eagles, falling 62-38. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Earle's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Vilonia, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Coincidentally, Earle and Vilonia will both be playing Harrison the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Goblins at 6:06 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
