Baseball Recap: Mayfield Comes Up Short

Mayfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs, falling 15-2.

Cubby Roth (C) made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one double.

Mayfield's record now sits at 1-9. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season.

Mayfield will take on Fort Plain at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, they will head out on the road to take on Oneonta at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
