Basketball Recap: North Yarmouth Academy Comes Up Short

North Yarmouth Academy was the 58-35 winner over Poland when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The North Yarmouth Academy Panthers received a blow on Thursday as they fell 61-43 to the Poland Knights. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Yarmouth Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Poland, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

North Yarmouth Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-31 loss against Winthrop on the 4th. As for Poland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 40-37 defeat against Leavitt on the 4th.
