Volleyball Recap: Desert Takes a Loss

Desert lost against Trinity Classical Academy two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Desert took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity Classical Academy.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 20-25, 25-12.

Ajani Perry paced Desert's offense, picking up seven kills. Perry got some help from Benny Baladez and his 20 assists. Pai'Ea Koko controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Desert's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Trinity Classical Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Desert wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Palmdale Academy Charter School on the 20th. As for Trinity Classical Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Gorman Learning Charter - Antelope Valley on the 19th.
