It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Peachtree Ridge can now relate to. They lost to the Newton Rams on the road by a 33-14 margin on Friday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rayshaun Parks, who rushed for 30 yards and one score, and also threw for 207 yards on 20 of 33 attempts. 91 of Parks' passing yards were hauled in by Rhari Thomas.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Darius White and Kevin Hartsfield. White rushed for 152 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry while Hartsfield rushed for 185 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Hartsfield has posted since back in August.
Peachtree Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Newton, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
Peachtree Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newton, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 31-14 loss against Buford on the 21st.
