Softball Preview: Cross County Thunderbirds vs. Westside Warriors        
        
		
            
 The Cross County Thunderbirds will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Westside Warriors at 4:30  p.m.  in their first game  on Monday.
 Cross County might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  10-5 to Buffalo Island Central, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
 Meanwhile, Westside narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Trumann  4-3. The  win was just what Westside needed coming off of  an  8-2 defeat in their prior  matchup.
 Westside saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Bella Black, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Cross County dropped their record down to 8-12 with that  loss, which was their third straight  at home. As for Westside, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record  this season.
