Basketball Recap: Splendora Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Splendora hadn't done well against Kingwood Park recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Splendora Wildcats walked away with a 51-42 win over the Kingwood Park Panthers. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 60-34 defeat the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Kingwood Park lost, don't look at Asia Martin. Despite the final result, she posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Aniah Cross, who scored nine points.

Splendora has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. As for Kingwood Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.
