Ogallala put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 75-33 victory over the Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 35 points or more this season.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Parker Volk, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tregan Barnes, who earned 11 points.

Ogallala's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Doniphan-Trumbull, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Ogallala and Doniphan-Trumbull should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings. Ogallala (ranked 12th) will meet Chadron (ranked 153rd) at 6:30 p.m. on December 30th. Meanwhile, Doniphan-Trumbull (ranked 50th) will meet Sandy Creek (ranked 131st) at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
