Recap: Ridge Community Bolts vs. Fort Meade Miners
The Ridge Community Bolts's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Meade. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ridge Community in their matchups with Fort Meade: they've now lost three in a row.
Ridge Community lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being A. Benoit, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of T. Bodison, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Ridge Community's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Fort Meade, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1.
Ridge Community's road trip will continue as they head out to face East Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on January 18th. As for Fort Meade, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Santa Fe Catholic at 6:30 p.m.
