Baseball Recap: Muskogee Roughers vs. Coweta Tigers        
        
		
            
 Muskogee was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They fell victim to a  rough 10-1 loss at the hands of the Coweta Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Muskogee of the  14-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  on March 7th.
  Luke Jamison was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 On Coweta's side,  Alex Crawford tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.
 On the hitting side, Coweta got a  massive  performance out of  Conor Taylor, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hunter DeHues, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI and two  doubles.
 Muskogee's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Coweta, the  win was  the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.
 Muskogee will head out on the road to  challenge  Warner at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Coweta, they will be playing at home against Oologah at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
