Volleyball Recap: Ponca Gets the Win

Ponca picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Tekamah-Herman Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Emerson Ehlers paced Ponca's offense, picking up eight kills. Ehlers got some help from Elsie Keller and her 12 assists. Keller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Ponca's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Tekamah-Herman, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Ponca has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Cedar Catholic on the 13th. As for Tekamah-Herman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Wakefield on the 13th.
