Basketball Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss

Manchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Summerfield Bulldogs 64-19. While losing is never fun, the Flying Dutchmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 551st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 148th).

Manchester's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Summerfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Manchester didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-33 defeat against East Jackson on the 28th. Summerfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
