Basketball Recap: Gila Bend Takes a Loss

Gila Bend was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 36-18 to the Tri City Prep Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Gila Monsters have lost by exactly 18 points.

Gila Bend's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Tri City Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Gila Bend has already played their next matchup, a 44-21 defeat against BASIS - Peoria on the 17th. As for Tri City Prep, they will take on Thunderbird Adventist Academy at 6:50 p.m. on January 21st. Tri City Prep's defense has only allowed 25.9 points per game this season, so Thunderbird Adventist Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
