Basketball Game Preview: Shelton Highclimbers vs. Black Hills Wolves

Shelton is 1-7 against Black Hills since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Shelton Highclimbers will look to defend their home court against the Black Hills Wolves at 7:00 p.m.

Shelton came up short against Tumwater on Wednesday, falling 49-24. The matchup marked the Highclimbers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Black Hills came tearing into Wednesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 69-42 win over the Bobcats.

Black Hills is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Shelton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-13.
