Softball Game Preview: Wheeler Eagles vs. Biggersville Lions

The Wheeler Eagles will face off against the Biggersville Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Wheeler got the win against Thrasher by a conclusive 11-1. Considering the Eagles have won ten matchups by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Biggersville challenged Baldwyn on Monday. Biggersville put the hurt on Baldwyn with a sharp 11-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Wheeler's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Biggersville, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Everything went Wheeler's way against Biggersville in their previous matchup last Wednesday, as Wheeler made off with an 11-1 win. Will Wheeler repeat their success, or does Biggersville has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
