Baseball Game Preview: Henrietta Bearcats vs. Tolar Rattlers

For the second straight game, Henrietta will face off against Tolar. The Bearcats will take on the Rattlers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Henrietta is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Tolar 3-2.

Caden Frost spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up ten Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Henrietta is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 11-13-1 otherwise.

At the plate, Henrietta saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brighton Roberson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Those two hits gave Roberson a new career-high.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Henrietta kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tolar only managed four hits.

The victory got Henrietta back to even at 14-14-1. As for Tolar, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 12-12 record.
