Baseball Recap: Oakwood Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

While Oakwood's win against Buckley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Owls sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Griffins on Tuesday. The Owls haven't had any issues with the Griffins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Oakwood pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Buckley, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.
