Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask True North Classical Academy). They blew past the Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie 16-1 on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their two-run performance the game before.

Alex Diaz looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February.

On the hitting side, Kash Ojeda was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Max Balsera also deserves some recognition as he hit his first doubles of the season.

True North Classical Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

True North Classical Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. Hialeah Educational Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
