Basketball Recap: Okeechobee Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Okeechobee needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Juan Rosales. The Brahmans had just enough and edged out the Clewiston Tigers 44-41 for which the team can thank Rosales, who posted 17 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Okeechobee's points.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-9. As for Clewiston, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Okeechobee and Clewiston will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Brahmans see the court they'll take on Lake Placid at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Clewiston, their break will end when they face Bishop Verot at 7:00 p.m. on January 15, 2026.
