Recap: American Fork Cavemen vs. Payson Lions
The American Fork Cavemen had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Payson with a 42-36 win on Monday. The win was just what American Fork needed coming off of a 64-40 defeat in their prior game.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Quincey Mathews, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kyah Bahr, who scored 10 points.
American Fork's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Payson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
American Fork's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fremont at 5:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Payson, they will square off against Riverton at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
