Almira-Coulee-Hartline won the last time they faced Curlew and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors took down the Curlew Cougars 48-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ellie Calhoun, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 10 points. The dominant performance gave Calhoun a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Annika Baker, who posted six points and 14 boards.

Almira-Coulee-Hartline's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Curlew, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-6.

Looking ahead, Almira-Coulee-Hartline will head out on the road to face off against Wellpinit at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wellpinit will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Almira-Coulee-Hartline surely won't give up without a fight.
