Volleyball Recap: Arrowhead Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Arrowhead had won four straight home games and Siena MacCudden did her part to make it five on Thursday. The Warhawks put the hurt on the Hartford Orioles with a sharp 3-0 victory for which the team can thank MacCudden, who had 21 digs and two assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

While Arrowhead won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Hartford had strong showings from Lydia Krasselt, who had 11 digs and nine assists, and Shea Perkowski, who had 14 digs and two aces.

Arrowhead's win bumped their record up to 28-13. As for Hartford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 19 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-24 record this season.

Arrowhead will face off against Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hartford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
