Baseball Recap: Calhoun County Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Calhoun County and Ware Shoals squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Calhoun County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 12-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Saints haven't been shut out since back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Calhoun County and nudges their season record down to 5-10. As for Ware Shoals, their victory bumped their record up to 17-8.

Calhoun County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-3 win against Thornwell on the 8th. As for Ware Shoals, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Lewisville on the 8th.
