Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Lexi Chyu and Josee Kim Lead Parkland to Victory

Parkland won the last time they faced Louis E. Dieruff and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Trojans blew past the Huskies 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-13, 25-17.

Leading Parkland to victory were Josee Kim and Lexi Chyu. Kim had seven digs and three aces, while Chyu had four aces and two assists. Those four aces gave Chyu a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Parkland was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Parkland now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Louis E. Dieruff, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkland will square off against East Stroudsburg North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Louis E. Dieruff, they will take on Stroudsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
