Football Recap: Superior Takes Down Ranked Ray + How To Watch

Superior faced Ray in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Panthers enjoyed a cozy 46-28 win over the Bearcats. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.

Superior's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryland Duarte led the charge by picking up 149 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 42 yards and one score. Antonio Lopez was another key player, having thrown for 277 yards and onetouchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for Superior and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.0 points over those games. As for Ray, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
