Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gateway). They never let the Kiski Area Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Saturday. Gateway haven't had any issues with Kiski Area recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Gateway's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Kiski Area, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gateway will challenge Penn Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kiski Area, they will take on Shaler Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
