Basketball Recap: Hopkins County Central Storm vs. Hopkinsville Tigers
Hopkins County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 92-79 to the Hopkinsville Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 78-63 last Saturday.
Hopkins County Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Hopkinsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hopkins County Central will venture away from home to square off against Union County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hopkinsville, they will square off against McCracken County at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopkinsville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully McCracken County likes a good challenge.
