Volleyball Recap: Meade River Takes a Loss

Meade River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Kali Wolverines. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Wolverines from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Meade River had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21.

Meade River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Meade River and Kali will both be playing Nunamiut the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will head out to face the Amaguq at 8:55 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
