After a string of three wins, Belfast's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mount View Mustangs by a score of 51-49. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 52-51.

Belfast's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Mount View, they moved to 4-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Belfast will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mount View, they will square off against Morse at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount View is facing Morse at the right time seeing as Morse is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
