Volleyball Recap: Lutheran North Takes a Loss

Lutheran North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Principia Panthers. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 16-25, 25-17.

Principia was led to victory by Clara Conner and Tshego Mhaladi. Conner had seven digs and five aces, while Mhaladi had seven digs. Those seven digs gave Conner a new career-high.

Lutheran North's record now sits at 2-7. As for Principia, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-2 record this season.

Lutheran North has already played their next matchup (against Ritenour), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Principia, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Roosevelt on the 23rd.
