A Season-Best Effort from Max Huston Leads Seaman over Shawnee Heights

Seaman was led to victory by Max Huston, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Huston rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Huston must have Shawnee Heights's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Huston saw the Thunderbirds), he threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards.

Carson Dixon Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Carson Dixon produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Basehor-Linwood to the win on Friday. Dixon threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

The victory for Basehor-Linwood keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Dixon and Basehor-Linwood will face off against Seaman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Parker also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending three passes.

Shawnee Heights is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. Parker and Shawnee Heights will welcome Lansing at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
