The Freedom Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Liberty Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Freedom sitting on six straight victories and Liberty on eight.
On Thursday, Freedom made easy work of Heritage and carried off a 10-3 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Jaclyn Graves looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Yasmeen Sanchez was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last four games she's played. Ruby Cuen Camacho also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Freedom lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Liberty came out on top against Berkeley on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run first inning. The Lions put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 12-1 victory. The Lions are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the 11th game they've won by 6+ runs this season.
The team relied heavily on Kelsie Skaggs, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Isabella Rice, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.
Liberty pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Freedom, the win got them back to even at 7-7-1.
Both Freedom and Liberty just can't seem to miss. The Falcons have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.6 hits per game. However, it's not like Liberty struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 2.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Freedom might still be hurting after the 14-3 loss they got from Liberty in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
