Soccer Recap: Giles Takes a Loss

Giles lost against Auburn back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans lost 4-1 to the Eagles. Giles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Kerrigan Mitcham, who's now up to 15 this season.

Giles' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Auburn, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Giles will square off against rival George Wythe at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Auburn is set to challenge their familiar foe Bland County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
