Baseball Recap: Snohomish Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

While Snohomish's win against Monroe wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Bearcats on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted against the Bearcats since March 21, 2023.

Snohomish pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Monroe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
