Pickford strolled into their game on Saturday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 14-8 margin over the Rudyard Bulldogs. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Pickford got a massive performance out of Gunner Bennin, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Bennin is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Mason Andrzejak was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Pickford pushed their record up to 6-0-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.4 runs over those games. As for Rudyard, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Pickford will host Heston Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rudyard, they will be playing at home against Mackinaw City at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
