Baseball Recap: Bishop Mcdevitt Wins Going Away Against Central Dauphin East

Bishop McDevitt got themselves on the board against Central Dauphin East on Monday, but Central Dauphin East never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Panthers. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Not much got past Vince Leoni, who gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Central Dauphin East off the board. Leoni is becoming a predictor of Bishop McDevitt's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 3-1 (and 1-8 when he doesn't).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Easton Comp, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Ish Palmer was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
