Golden put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout  on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pomona Panthers  a   7-0 shutout. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.
The result came thanks to  Sawyer Brinkman's shutout, as he gave up just a  hit and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Dylan Paulson, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in March.  Jaydon Stroup was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
Golden's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-3. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.2 runs. As for Pomona, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record  this season.
 Golden will challenge Longmont at 3:30  p.m.  on Saturday. The Demons are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Pomona, they will face off against Evergreen at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
