Baseball Recap: Stanwood Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Stanwood put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Arlington Eagles by a score of 8-3. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gavin Gehrman made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-low in hits. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Stanwood let Brayden Wammack and TJ McQuery run wild. Wammack scored three runs while going 2-for-2, while McQuery got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI McQuery has posted since back in April of 2024.
