Brennan won the last time they faced Madison and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bears narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Mavericks 2-1.

Kayla Rodriguez paced Brennan's offense, picking up 15 kills. Rodriguez got some help from Rubie Mares and her 11 assists.

Aubrianna Jefferson and Makayla Escobedo certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Jefferson had 15 digs and three assists, while Escobedo had 17 digs.

Brennan's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Brennan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Smithson Valley on the 16th. As for Madison, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Taft on the 16th.
