Volleyball Game Preview: Gig Harbor Tides vs. Central Kitsap Cougars + Official Tickets

After both having extra time off, the Gig Harbor Tides and the Central Kitsap Cougars will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Gig Harbor had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Mount Tahoma on Wednesday. The Tides were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the T-Birds. The Tides haven't had any issues with the T-Birds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Central Kitsap made easy work of Lincoln on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Central Kitsap's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Gig Harbor, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Gig Harbor might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Central Kitsap in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Tides avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
