Baseball Game Preview: Bret Harte Bullfrogs vs. Livingston Wolves

The Bret Harte Bullfrogs will venture away from home to square off against the Livingston Wolves at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Livingston took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bret Harte, who comes in off a win.

Bret Harte is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Venture Academy on Thursday. Bret Harte's pitcher stepped up to hand Venture Academy a 3-0 shutout.

Wyatt Scrobecky was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Livingston unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 15-4 to Merced on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Bret Harte's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Livingston, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
