Volleyball Game Preview: West Linn Lions vs. Sheldon Irish

The West Linn Lions will take on the Sheldon Irish in a tournament on Saturday.

West Linn lost 3-0 to Oregon City on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Sheldon came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 11 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Wolverines as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

West Linn's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Sheldon, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.

West Linn came up short against Sheldon in their previous matchup back in September, falling 2-0. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
