Recap: Lynwood Knights vs. Warren Bears
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Lynwood Knights had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They breezed by the Bears at home to the tune of 103-34. Lynwood has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.
Lynwood was led to victory by Chace Holley and Jason Crowe Jr. Holley dropped a double-double on 18 points and 19 rebounds, while Crowe Jr scored 31 points along with five steals. Crowe Jr is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 22 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahaz Wright, who scored 18 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Lynwood and bumps their season record up to 20-9. As for Warren, they dropped their record down to 13-16 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Lynwood will square off against Yucaipa at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Yucaipa's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
