Recap: Snowflake Lobos vs. Round Valley Elks
The Snowflake Lobos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 25 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Round Valley on Thursday as Snowflake made off with a 52-27 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Snowflake.
Kinzee Brogan continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The matchup was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kloey Reidhead, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Round Valley struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Snowflake pushed their record up to 5-3 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Round Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.
Snowflake won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against San Tan Foothills at 12:00 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully San Tan Foothills focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 last Thursday. As for Round Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Pinon at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pinon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
