After losing to Ashbrook the last time they met, Crest decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Chargers managed a 45-39 win over the Greenwave on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Several Greenwave players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Arianna McDowell, who shot 45% from the field en route to 12 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. McDowell has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 21 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicole Cherry, who posted eight points and eight boards.

Crest's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Ashbrook, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Coming up, Crest will challenge South Point at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ashbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
