Softball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short on the Road Against St. Dominic

Lisbon had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the St. Dominic Saints by a score of 13-11 on Saturday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Ava Kottmann was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Brynn Chase was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Lisbon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 20-5 victory against Madison on the 23rd. As for St. Dominic, they have also already played their next match, a 14-13 defeat against North Yarmouth Academy on the 23rd.
